WHY DID WE DO THIS PROJECT?
This project is an international social responsibility project conducted between April and June 2026 in Turkey, Italy, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Romania, involving 6 schools, 7 teachers, and 150 students (24 of whom were registered on Twinspace). It aimed to teach preschool and primary school students essential self-care and life skills (such as tying shoelaces, folding clothes, setting the table, and personal hygiene) through gamification and peer learning. The project focused on helping 6-11 year olds, a crucial age group for shaping habits, understand the importance of basic self-care and life skills. Art, music, dance, and poetry were adapted to the project themes. Interdisciplinary curriculum activities, enriched with web tools, were complemented by collaborative products from mixed national teams: a "Project Code" and a "Self-Care Song." As a result, our project has transformed into an inclusive social responsibility project implementing e-safety.
